Color Outside the Lines: a virtual writing retreat, takes place October 17th & 18th from 12 - 4 pm EST.

This live event is designed to help you harness the fall writing energy and set yourself up for a strong finish to 2026. We've created this writer's gathering to work no matter where you are in the process, so whether you're planning to participate in what was once NaNoWriMo or are deep in revisions, you'll find guidance, space, and connection to move your project forward.

I know I set some lofty goals for myself in the beginning of the year, and while I've reached some of them, I still have lots more writing to do. And with less than 100 days left in the year (yikes!) I'm walking the line between productivity and panic.

And yet, I also know that the way to keep my creativity flowing and away from fear is by working alongside other writers. The understanding, the gentle encouragement, the love of words and story we all share—that's what I love most about these events.
